As a Body Wise Bakery, every loaf is baked to order in small batches. We don't chase convenience. We bake differently because great bread takes time. Every loaf is baked fresh in small batches using thoughtfully selected organic ingredients. Rather than relying on preservatives for long shelf life, we freeze delivery orders once at peak freshness so they arrive tasting exactly as intended.

Every bread delivered is baked fresh, frozen once at peak freshness before dispatch — allowing us to deliver naturally, without preservatives or artificial shelf-life extenders. Simply transfer to your freezer on arrival, or thaw, slice and keep refrigerated for up to a week.

Our breads are baked fresh, then frozen before dispatch to naturally preserve flavour and quality during transit. This allows us to deliver without relying on preservatives or artificial shelf-life extenders. Freezing at peak freshness is the most honest way we know to get great bread to your door.

🏡 Bakery Door Pick-up

Pre-order online and collect directly from our bakery in the Northern Rivers. Bakery Door pickup is perfect if you're local and want your bread as fresh as possible.

Pickup days: Tuesdays and Fridays.
Pickup times: 8am – 5pm.

Notice required: Please allow at least 48 hours — we bake to order and need time to prepare yours fresh.

🌿 Farmers Markets

Find us at local farmers markets across the Northern Rivers. Pre-ordering guarantees your products will be waiting for you at the stall — no queuing, no missing out.

Fridays — Mullumbimby Farmers Market | 7:00am–11:00am

Saturdays — Bangalow Farmers Market | 7:00am–11:00am

To guarantee your order is ready at the market, please pre-order 48 hours before your chosen market day. Cut-off times are listed at checkout. We recommend ordering as early as possible — our small batches sell out quickly.

Our breads are designed to be stored in the freezer and enjoyed on your schedule.

🧊 Keep frozen until needed
🌡️ Thaw at room temperature — a few hours is usually enough
🍞 Toast directly from frozen if preferred — works beautifully
🔄 Refreeze if required — quality is maintained

Why does my bread arrive frozen?

We bake your bread fresh, then freeze it once before dispatch. This is how we deliver Australia-wide without using preservatives or artificial additives — freezing at peak freshness locks in flavour and quality for the journey to your door.

Does freezing affect the quality?

Freezing at peak freshness is one of the most effective ways to preserve the nutritional integrity of our breads. Although freezing can result in a slightly drier, more crumbly texture, many of our customers say they can't tell the difference from fresh — especially when toasted.

Can I refreeze the bread?

Yes. Our breads can be refrozen without significant loss of quality. We recommend slicing before refreezing so you can take out exactly what you need.

How long does it last?

Stored in the freezer, our breads will keep well for up to 3 months. Once thawed, store refrigerated for up to 7 days for best results.

Can I choose fresh bread for delivery?

At this stage, our breads are dispatched frozen to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. If you'd like fresh bread, we recommend Bakery Door pickup or visiting us at one of our farmers markets. All Sweets and Pantry items are fine to ship fresh.

Can I order for someone else?

Absolutely. Simply enter the recipient's delivery address at checkout. If you're sending it as a gift, feel free to get in touch and we'll do our best to include a personal note.
