The Body Wise Difference

Being a Body Wise Bakery means listening—to traditional wisdom, to the integrity of our ingredients and to the way food leaves people feeling. We bake in small batches using thoughtfully selected organic, plant-based ingredients and time-honoured methods, without unnecessary shortcuts. Every product is made with purpose: to nourish, satisfy and reconnect people with the foods they love—without compromise.

🚚 Australia-Wide Delivery

For delivery, our bread range — including loaves, bagels and flat breads - is baked fresh, then frozen before dispatch. These items travel without refrigeration, so are expected to thaw in transit and arrive unfrozen. On arrival, refrigerate and enjoy within 7 days, or safely refreeze for later. Sweets and pantry items are shipped fresh.

❄️ Why do we freeze delivery bread items?
Freezing at peak freshness helps preserve flavour and quality without relying on preservatives or artificial shelf-life extenders. It does not mean your items will arrive frozen — they thaw naturally during transit and can be safely refrozen.

Delivery Questions

Will my delivery arrive frozen?

No. Suitable bakery items are frozen before dispatch but travel without refrigeration. They will thaw in transit and arrive unfrozen. This is expected and they can be safely refrozen.

Does freezing affect the quality?

Freezing at peak freshness is one of the most effective ways to preserve the nutritional integrity of our breads. Although freezing can result in a slightly drier, more crumbly texture, many of our customers say they can’t tell the difference from fresh — especially when toasted.

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery orders are dispatched on Tuesday using express delivery. Most orders arrive within an estimated 1–3 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and carrier network. Tracking details are emailed once your parcel has been collected. Delivery timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates, and occasional carrier delays can occur.

What if my order is delayed, damaged or missing?

Please check your tracking information first. If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, contact us with your order number and we will lodge an enquiry with the carrier.

Delivery bakery items travel without refrigeration and are expected to arrive thawed; this alone does not mean there is a problem. If the parcel is damaged or you believe the products are unsuitable, please photograph the parcel, packaging and products and contact us as soon as possible. Do not consume anything you believe may be unsuitable. We will assess the circumstances and provide a remedy where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Can I choose unfrozen bread for delivery?

Our loaves, bagels, pitas and pizza bases are frozen before dispatch and thaw during transit. They will arrive unfrozen but cannot be dispatched without first being frozen. Sweets and pantry items are shipped fresh.

Can I order for someone else?

Absolutely. Simply enter the recipient’s delivery address at checkout. If you’re sending it as a gift, feel free to get in touch and we’ll do our best to include a personal note.
