Terms of Sale
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Breadicine website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read before ordering.
About Breadicine
Breadicine is a small artisan bakery based in Murwillumbah, NSW. We produce organic, gluten free breads and baked goods in small batches using traditional methods. Our products are made with care, using quality natural ingredients.
Ordering
Our products are prepared in small batches and availability is limited. Occasionally, a product may sell out before or after an order is placed. If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we may cancel and refund that item or contact you to agree on a suitable alternative. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
Once production, packing or allocation has commenced, we may not be able to accommodate changes or cancellations. If you need to change an order, email orders@breadicine.com.au as soon as possible with your order number.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Delivery charges and any other applicable costs are displayed at checkout before payment.
Prices may change without notice, but changes will not affect an order we have already accepted. Promotional offers are available for a limited time and may be withdrawn or changed in accordance with the conditions displayed with the offer.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. An order is confirmed when payment has been processed and an order confirmation has been issued.
Australia-wide Delivery
Full details about delivery preparation, dispatch schedules and storage are available on our How Ordering Works page.
Orders placed by the advertised Sunday cut-off are generally prepared on Monday and dispatched on Tuesday using express delivery. The estimated delivery time is 1–3 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and carrier network. Delivery timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates, and public holidays, weather or carrier network conditions may cause delays.
For delivery, suitable bakery items—including loaves, bagels, pitas and pizza bases—are baked fresh and frozen before dispatch. They travel without refrigeration and will thaw in transit, so they are expected to arrive unfrozen. Thawed arrival by itself does not mean that there is a problem with the product. Sweets and pantry items are generally shipped fresh unless stated otherwise.
Tracking information is sent after dispatch. If your parcel is delayed, damaged, incorrect or missing, email orders@breadicine.com.au with your order number. Breadicine will assist with the carrier enquiry and provide a remedy where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for collecting a parcel promptly if it is taken to a collection point. If delivery fails because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, access was unavailable, or the parcel was not collected, reasonable redelivery or replacement charges may apply. This does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Bakery Door Pick-up
Bakery Door pickup is available for pre-orders. Collection days, times and ordering cut-offs are published on the website or displayed at checkout. As our products are prepared in small batches, approximately 48 hours’ notice is generally required.
Please collect your order during your nominated collection window. We cannot hold perishable orders indefinitely. If you cannot collect your order, email orders@breadicine.com.au as soon as possible.
Farmers Market Collections
We recommend pre-ordering for market days because products may sell out. Pre-orders must be collected from the selected market during its advertised trading hours.
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct market and collection day at checkout. If you cannot collect your order, email orders@breadicine.com.au as soon as possible. Because products may be perishable or prepared specifically for you, we cannot guarantee an alternative collection time or refund for an uncollected order where Breadicine was ready and able to supply it. This does not affect rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Handmade Products
All Breadicine products are handmade using natural ingredients. Slight variations in colour, appearance, crust, shape and size are a normal and expected part of artisan baking. These natural variations do not by themselves mean that a product is faulty or of unacceptable quality.
Ingredients, allergens and dietary information
Ingredients and dietary information are listed on individual product pages and product packaging in retail settings. Recipes may occasionally change, so please check the information for each product before ordering and again before consumption.
Breadicine operates a dedicated gluten-free bakery. Other allergens, including sesame and tree nuts, are used in the bakery. Individual products may contain additional allergens as stated on their product page or packaging.
If you or the intended recipient has a serious allergy, intolerance or medical dietary requirement, email orders@breadicine.com.au before ordering if anything is unclear. Dietary descriptions and information on our website are not medical advice and should not replace advice from a qualified health professional.
Product Storage
Storage recommendations are available on our How Ordering Works page and product packaging. Please follow the product-specific instructions to maintain quality and shelf life.
Delivery bakery items are expected to arrive thawed. Unless the product information states otherwise, they can be refrigerated for the stated storage period or safely refrozen on arrival for later use.
Do not consume a product if its packaging is materially compromised, it shows signs of spoilage, or you otherwise believe it may be unsuitable. Email orders@breadicine.com.au for assistance.
Returns, refunds and product concerns
We take quality seriously. If an order is damaged, incorrect, unsafe, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, email orders@breadicine.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where possible.
Depending on the circumstances and the Australian Consumer Law, an appropriate remedy may include a replacement, refund or another resolution. We may request reasonable evidence needed to assess the issue, such as photographs, packaging, product labels, batch details or proof of purchase. A request for evidence does not remove or restrict your rights.
Because our products are perishable, handmade and often prepared specifically for an order, change-of-mind returns and refunds are generally not available. Breadicine does not have to provide a refund or replacement where a customer simply changes their mind, misuses a product, or fails to follow the supplied storage and handling instructions. This does not affect any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Website Information
We take reasonable care to keep the information on our website accurate and current. Occasional errors or omissions may occur, and we may correct or update information when reasonably necessary.
If an error materially affects an order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate correction, alternative or refund. Website updates will not retrospectively change an order we have already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Breadicine website—including photographs, branding, logos, recipes and written copy—is owned by or licensed to Breadicine. It may not be reproduced, copied, adapted or used commercially without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent permitted by law, Breadicine is not responsible for loss caused by a customer’s misuse of a product, failure to follow storage or handling instructions, incorrect information supplied by the customer, or events that Breadicine could not reasonably prevent. We do not limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Sale by publishing a revised version on our website. The terms in effect when an order is placed will ordinarily apply to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of New South Wales and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
