Sprouted Organic Quinoa
Sprouted quinoa is a nutrient-dense, naturally gluten-free pseudograin that offers enhanced digestibility—making it an excellent option for those with sensitive digestive systems, including individuals managing SIBO or following a low-FODMAP diet.
Sprouting reduces phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors, which can interfere with mineral absorption and cause digestive discomfort. It also helps break down complex carbohydrates, making the nutrients in quinoa easier for the body to access and digest. Importantly, quinoa is considered low in FODMAPs when consumed in moderate portions (typically around 1 cup cooked), meaning it’s less likely to contribute to fermentation and gas production in the small intestine—key concerns for those with SIBO.
Rich in fibre, magnesium, and plant-based protein, sprouted quinoa supports gut health without overfeeding gut bacteria, making it a smart, satiating option for digestive wellness.
